This is a video on vertically mounting your graphics card, why you should, why you shouldn't, how to do it and the implications of doing so.
For reference, I'm using the Corsair Airflow 4000D (reviewed previously), the MSI GeForce RTX 2070 Super Gaming X Frozr 7 and Corsair's PCIe extension kit.
I tested thermals to show the difference between vertical and standard mounting and discuss the problems with it.
