This particular model is a GE WDRR2500K4WW but the assembly is common to many to many top load washers made after 2009.
1. Motor and belt are in good shape
2. Spin Cycle runs but Agitation is weak
3. You can reach in and physically turn the agitator in both directions (this means the coupler bolted and splined to the top of the transmission shaft is stripped)
4. Unplug washer from wall
5. Remove fabric softener cup by just pulling up
6. Check to see if you have a removable cap under the softener cup, if removable, remove it and by pulling up and then remove nut beneath. If the cap is glued to agitator, then pull up on agitator to release it from clips which hold it to coupler.
7. Remove bolt securing coupler and pull coupler straight up.
8. Line up slots when replacing agitator on coupler.
9. Coupler should not twist in either direction, Agitator should twist in only one direction.
