I have always had a weak spot for Demon Slayer though it never broke the top spot Re:Zero has, until this episode aired. I finished the manga back when it ended in 2020. While most of the time, manga are the better medium and mostly outperform anime, Demon Slayer's adaptation elevates the source material and clearly outperforms it. Besides animations by ufotable the music written by Go Shiina and Yuki Kajiura is outstanding to me. Go Shiina's Kamado Tanjiro no Uta already made be tear up when Demon Slayer's first season aired and this time they caught me again. What makes this OST so insane are the variation in the "chorus section". The time when we get to see Zenitsu they play the chorus section but with high notes instead of the first two variations. I also really like the key change from G-major to A flat-major (if I am not mistaken, still learning music theory). This OST really catches the feeling that this series is gonna end soon and we are embarking on the last fight. Hope you enjoy my arrangement. I will upload an easier version as soon as I get to work on it.
