Madhya Pradesh’s CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan released the second batch of cheetahs in the Kuno National Park in the state. 12 cheetahs were brought from South Africa in Indian Air Force's (IAF) C-17 Globemaster cargo plane. The cheetahs are being brought to India as part of the Cheetah Reintroduction project on the basis of the MoU signed between the South African and the Indian governments.
