Looks like there is some sort of server merge happening, or at least account merge?
UPDATE:
Here are some details on the timeline of its implementation.
*Wings Era Warrior is a coming Era-style mode in tandem with the WingsXI server merger scheduled for Mid-Late December. Wings players can continue playing until the merger and all their character data will be ported over.

There is not and will not be any conversion to a different account type. All of these players will become Wings Era Warriors. Complete with their own exclusive Caitsith icon as well.
