"Lung cancer can be treated.
Surgical advancements have allowed survivors of early-stage lung cancer to recover better. Drug developments have produced numerous options (e.g., targeted therapy and immunotherapy) to help early-stage lung cancer patients prolong disease-free survival after surgery, and late-stage lung cancer patients live better and continue working."
- Dr See Kay Choong, Singapore Cancer Society Lung Cancer Awareness Committee Chairperson, Senior Consultant, Division of Respiratory and Critical Care Medicine, Department of Medicine, National University Hospital
