In Malaysia, opposition calls have grown for Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin to convene an emergency meeting of parliament to secure a vote of confidence and establish his legitimacy. This comes after Mr Muhyiddin announced a two-month delay to the start of parliamentary proceedings. Dr Johan Saravanamuttu from the S. Rajaratnam School of International Studies at Nanyang Technological University shared his thoughts on the delay in parliamentary proceedings, and the potential line-up of Mr Muhyiddin's Cabinet.
