On this day in Zion National Park, I returned to my favorite hike in the world...The Virgin River Narrows. I've lost count of how many times I've made this hike now, but it never gets old to me, even when crowded. As usual, I started the day early and was one of the first people to hit the cold water. I had planned to take one image, but revisiting the site of a previous image led to a nice surprise. It had change quite a bit over the years and the foreground now featured a brand new beautiful set of cascades. I gave it a single sheet of Velvia then moved on to another shot I had planned.
