Yessayi talks about the origin and the grammar of the Musaler parpar (dialect).
He says:
"The dialect of Musaler belongs to the Cilician dialects group and is close to Kessab's, Beylan's and Zeytoun's dialects. In reality, Musaler and Kessab have the same dialect, that is why we believe we are the same people, sharing the same traditions and origin.
It is hard to know how old the Musaler dialect is but some linguists have certified that it contains some Georgian, Persian, and Old Eastern Armenian words. This shows that Musaler Armenian people have come from Eastern Armenia (current Armenia), otherwise, how would they have Georgian words in their dialect?
We must have been neighbors with Georgians at some point. They have come from Southern Armenia as well (because of the Persian words).
It is very interesting to know that the grammar of the dialect is built on "Krapar" (Old Armenian or Classical Armenian) and not on Armenian from the Middle Ages. This is proof that Musalertsis (people of Musaler) are older than the Kingdom of Cilicia. The great Armenian linguist, lexicographer, and etymologist, Hrachia Ajarian says that "the Old Armenian language is not dead. It still lives in Musaler". Moreover, ethnographer Tovmas Habeshian believed that Musaler dialect is the Old Armenian language (from Krapar) and has a history of 2000 years".
Yessayi then talks about some grammar rules in the Musaler dialect which are based on Krapar.
