Their new Legends tech demo is inspired by third century BC to second century AD mythologies from the book “Classic of Mountains and Seas”. Rendered with ultra-realistic visuals, players can naturally interact with a tribal hunter in both English and Mandarin, providing a glimpse into a future where more immersive experiences will be driven by non-playable characters. Powered by a raft of AI technologies, the character’s responses are animated in real-time by ACE’s Audio2Face, generating perfect audio-lip sync in both languages, naturalistic movement of the facial muscles during conversations, and realistic expressions.
