**FIGHTING YOUTUBE TO KEEP VIDEO COMMENTS OPEN**
When I first uploaded this video, I got all kinds of wonderful comments underneath, such as personal stories of loss and hope, and I loved reading every single one of them.
But then YouTube swooped in and decided that this video was for kids, so they disabled the comments and started making the video more available for children to see on their recommended videos. While I thought it was cool that this was getting so many views, I was upset about them removing all the comments and the ability to comment. I tried to appeal, but they refused to unlock my video from their grip.
So I added the "f-word" to the title and to the subtitles as a way of rebelling... AND IT WORKED! Now the comments are back open for everyone and I can see all of your comments again.
Now, I'm experimenting with keeping the video unlocked, but having less offensive subtitles. I fixed them up, and now I just have the word in the title.
I apologize for the language, but unfortunately, it's a sacrifice I have to make to keep this video open for comments.
