Elena Alexandra Apostoleanu (born October 16, 1986), professionally known as Inna (styled as INNA), is a Romanian singer, dancer and philanthropist. She rose to major fame in 2009, when her debut studio album Hot was an international success, appearing in many record charts around the world and reaching the top-ten in Czech Republic, France and the United Kingdom. The album's lead single of the same name charted worldwide, topping the US Hot Dance Airplay in 2009.

Reaching the top twenty across multiple charts, it achieved commercial success worldwide. "Hot" was certified Gold in Italy, Silver in the United Kingdom, and Platinum in Spain. During 2009 and early 2010, she released four more singles from her debut studio album, Hot, which sold one million copies worldwide. One of these singles was "Amazing", which reached the number-one position on the Romanian Top 100, while "10 Minutes" marked the fourth time that Inna reached the top ten in France. Her second studio album, I Am the Club Rocker, was released in 2011. For this album, Inna collaborated with Flo Rida and Juan Magan on "Club Rocker" and "Un Momento", respectively. The lead single, "Sun Is Up", was certified Gold in Italy and Switzerland and was the 17th best-selling single of 2011 in France, with it bringing sales of over 100,000 registered copies there.
In March 2013, Inna made her third studio album, Party Never Ends, available for purchase. "Tu şi eu", the Romanian-language version of "Crazy Sexy Wild", peaked at number five in Romania. "More than Friends", a collaboration with Daddy Yankee, peaked at number seven in Spain, where it was certified Gold for being streamed four million times.[3] The album's opener, "In Your Eyes", reached number 44 in Romania. Following this, Inna released her self-titled fourth studio album and its Japanese version, Body and the Sun, in 2015. The first single off the Japanese release, "Cola Song", features J Balvin on guest vocals. The track became commercially successful in Europe, eventually reaching number eight on the Spanish Singles Chart. In early 2015, it was certified Platinum in Spain. "Diggy Down", the first release off Inna, scored Inna's second number one song in her native Romania.
