A wander up the Main Strip in Oluedeniz, Turkey. The main strip is located directly off the beach front near the fantastic Belcekiz Beach Hotel and is a street full of stalls, shops, bars and restaurants.
As we wander up the street we'll see many tour operators which can offer you trips such as paragliding, horse riding, jeep safari, sunset cruises, boat trips and much more! You'll see the guys on the Pioneer Travel desk give us a wave as we pass by. Denis at Pioneer Travel is particularly friendly and helpful and, if you book 2 activities with them, he'll offer you a third free! (Either a traditional Turkish spa or sunset cruise boat trip.
You'll then see some very similar names, but look again! It isn't 'ASDA' - it's 'AZDA'. It isn't 'LiDL' it's 'IiDL'. 😂 Almost everything is knock-off, but it's still great quality and value.
We'll wander past an old Roman ruin and 2 old Turkish gentlemen playing a game of backgammon right beside it. How lovely!
We'll then carry on up to the top of the road passing plenty of shops where you can buy leather bags, shoes, shirts, t-shirts and all sorts of other clothing. You'll see spa and beauty treatment places as well as many bars and restaurants, all of which are open until the small hours. If you can't find anything to buy, eat or drink up the Oludeniz Main Strip, then there's probably something wrong with you!
