Kareum or gareum means a small neighborhood or a village in Jeju dialect. Traditionally, the eastern and western regions of Jeju were called Dongkareum and Seokareum respectively. And the southern and northern were called Algareum and Wootgareum.
Jeju is a popular island. There are long lines at tourist attractions with people who are busy trying to get that shot for the 'gram. How about we stop and smell the roses? Make this trip relaxing, unwinding, and recharging. We recommend Namwon-eup, Algareum.
