Michael Jackson’s BAD album was released on August 31, 1987. Over time, starting around 1988, some songs on the album would be replaced with different versions for all future pressings and re-releases. Resulting in these alternate versions being the new standard version of the song, and the one most of us hear today. Some releases may alter the overall sound of the album, like turning up or down the bass, etc. but I’m only going to discuss elements being removed or added from songs.
