RECIPE
1/4 cup each of Red Masoor, Yellow Moong and Tuvar Dals (red and yellow lentils). Wash in running water, soak 30 mins and pressure cook with salt until cooked. Blend and keep aside.
Peel and dice dudhi (Bottle gourd). Boil with salt and turmeric until soft. In a saucepan add 1 tbsp ghee, cumin seeds, once heated add chopped onions, fry, add tomatoes and chopped green chili, saute until soft, add spices - red chilli, turmeric, cumin, coriander, garam Masala and dry mango powders. Give it a good stir, add Dals and dudhi, cook for 5 mins. Transfer to serving dish and garnish with chopped coriander. Serve with rice and pickles.
