I replaced the VTS boot and threw away the old one because it was brittle from age. I also replaced the VTS trim rod that connects the VTS motors shaft to the jet nozzle. Once I finished the VTS workI tried starting the jetski and it wouldn’t turn over making me think the crank has water in it, starter was flooded and ruined or worst case the engine is seized. Also I noticed the exhaust portion that connects to the manifold was loose and 3 bolts were missing. I not believe that water came through the manifold port and sprayed all in the hole of the jetski. I said in the video that I thought it was coming from the water line on the top of the pipe but realized that water flows from the manifold and travels up to that water line and flows from there to the expansion pipe.next video I will find out why the engine will not turn over and will fix the exhaust.
All parts were purchased on eBay and found using part numbers from Seadoo manuals.
