1 Euro Home Investment! How much does it cost to renovate a 1 Euro Home in Sicily? Well we visited San Piero Patti and saw Three 1 Euro Houses for sale as part of the 1 Euro Homes Project here in this town in Messina, Sicily. It truly costs 1 Euro but you do have to renovate it within 5 years in order to get your $5,000 Euro deposit back. The goal of these one euro homes is to help maintain the culture and history of small cities as well as repopulate them. I loved how San Piero Patti is super organized with this and Consuelo is a great contact for this project.
