On Thursday March 14th, more than 70 Rabbis, Rabbaniot and educators from across Israel attended a special conference Caring for Klal Yisrael in Times of War run by OU Israel in Mishkanot Shanaanim, Yerushalayim. The conference was focused on empowering and strengthening our community’s leaders during this difficult time for Klal Yisrael.



English-speaking Olim across the country are looking to their OU Israel family for much needed Chizuk, religious support, Torah learning and the sense of community which OU Israel has provided for the last 40 years. In response to this growing need, OU Israel undertook the task of providing a day to support and encourage our community’s teachers and spiritual leaders. The conference offered them much needed Chizuk, and it was the first step in building a network of English-speaking leaders across Israel that will continue to guide and support our people during these difficult times. Sessions were led by prominent Rabbinic personalities, mental health professionals and experts in the field of pastoral care.
