Tor is currently based at the London College of Fashion, working for Expanded as a Formwork Carpentry Apprentice. Originally, she went to university and earned a degree in Fashion Merchandise beginning her career as a visual merchandiser, before moving into theatre and events where she created sets for festivals. However, after a few years Tor realised that she would be suited to a more hands-on job and, as a mature apprentice, who has entered construction via a non-traditional route, has never looked back.
