This 24 is at Station 10, The House of Pain and its breakfast time. Today, we have choosen to ride with the crew on Engine 10 at the time, the busiest station in the nation. Its night and a call comes in, and its a medical local. Next call, the guys are down the poles, on the rigs, and out the door for a possible structure fire.

Season 2 follows the first responders of Washington, DC. A camera crew is in embedded in fire companies through the city and follows each crew during their 48 hour shift as they fight fires, perform rescues on land and at sea, and assist during medical emergencies. Additionally, we get to know the individual firemen in the company and what the everyday life is for these everyday heroes.
This episode centers on Fire Station 10, Platoon 4, Truck.13. They run an EMS call to help a diabetic patient that needs assistance. Also we ask the Engine.10 crew why they became firefighters.
