If you were born between September 2002 and January 2011 you may have been given something called a Child Trust Fund. The kind folks in the Government opened them up and flung some cash in for you, which could be as much as £500!

They wanted to set you up with savings for when you reached adulthood. You only get the keys to the vault when you turn 18, but you can start managing it from your 16th birthday.

Just think of the possibilities! You could use it to help with University costs, taking a gap year or to reinvest for the future with a Junior ISA.
