NC State true freshman wide receiver "KC" Concepcion emerged on the scene and finished as perhaps the most productive true freshman receiver in all of college football. He won ACC Rookie of The Year as well as ACC Offensive Rookie of The Year honors. Concepcion was also a second-team All-ACC selection after amassing 64 receptions, 10 receiving scores and 1,064 all-purpose yards (767 receiving).
