Apologies for the half warm, half cold color split. Insta360 had my device in for repair for a whole month, and they sent it back to me "fixed" like this. Currently waiting for a replacement, but in the meantime....
Home to the 1964 summer olympic games, Komazawa park is THE place to be for athletics or even just relaxing in Tokyo! There are so many things here including:
- Running track
- Cycling track
- Soccer fields
- Baseball fields
- Lacrosse fields
- Basketball hoops
- Multiple indoor gymnasiums
- Stadium (American football, soccer, track & field)
- Skatepark (BMX & inline also welcome)
- Infant bicycle track
- Family bicycle? multicycle? track (see video)
- Sakura and plum trees
- Tennis courts
- Dog park
- Swimming pool (currently closed as of spring 2019)
I probably missed some, but there are many many many things to do here!
With the 2020 Olympics just around the corner, I can't want to see what new venues will pop up around Tokyo. One can only hope it's a grand as Komazawa Olympic Park.
