Takeda partnered with TCS who developed EDGE, an Innovation Factory delivery model to co-innovate and deliver supply chain solutions in the areas of AI, Machine Learning, Blockchain, and IoT on the SAP Cloud Platform to provide a fast, innovative and resilient supply chain. EDGE leverages design thinking to ideate, co-create, and then rapidly envision potential solution concepts with cross-functional end users. Using a value realization framework, high-value use cases are selected for the agile iterative build. The model helps to develop new digital ways of working using a model of scalable agile product delivery to rapidly create new business value for the Takeda supply chain organization.
