All-Star guard Donovan Mitchell is here to stay with the Cleveland Cavaliers as he's reportedly signed an extension with the team.
According to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski, Mitchell and the Cavaliers have agreed on a three-year, $150.3 million maximum contract. The contract also includes a player option for the 2027-28 season.
The deal comes a day after the Cavaliers introduced Kenny Atkinson as their next head coach.
Wojnarowski also reported that Mitchell's commitment to the deal comes "with his confidence in Koby Altman’s vision to keep building the Cavs into a championship contender and an alignment on their partnership together."
