Shark bay at Sal, Cape Verde Island. Lemon Sharks.

Don't know what to do at Cape Verde?
Go to the Shark Bay. The best time for visit is early afternoon, because most of buses with tourists arrives at noon. Don't travel there on organized trip, try to go there by yourself, you will have more time to see Lemon Sharks. Smaller group increases chance to be closer to the sharks.
If you support locals by renting water shoes (EUR 3,-) they will be happy to go with you to the ocean and attrack small sharks with food. Don't bring own food!
If you are lucky, you can see larger ones 100-200 meters from the beach. It's a good idea to have binoculars and camera with zoom lens for observations.
