NCAER launched its annual India Policy Forum by felicitating its long-time IPF Advisory Members Esther Duflo and Abhijit Banerjee on their 2019 Nobel Prize in Economics.
Duflo and Banerjee’s colleagues and contemporaries shared their warm words and appreciation. Participants included Pranab Bardhan, University of California, Berkeley; Suman Bery, Bruegel; Maitreesh Ghatak, London School of Economics and Political Sciences; Rakesh Mohan, Yale University and Brookings India; Dilip Mookherjee, Boston University; and Shekhar Shah, NCAER. The session was facilitated by Karthik Muralidharan, University of California, San Diego & NCAER.
