Had a huge setback about a week ago. Came home to find a pack of dogs eating the chickens. I tried to chase them off - but they were wild...feral. I got back in the car and ran them over.

Not something I ever wanted to do to a dog.

If I'd tried a warning shot to frighten them off, they just would have come back again, so I had to kill them.

So -- as I can't kill all the dogs in the world...for the last few days I've been supplementing my food supply with wild game. I've got my trusty rifle and so far I've had a duck and a pheasant. Well it IS pheasant season, after all!
