The Council for Exceptional Children (CEC) and eLuma recently presented a free webinar entitled, “Teaching Special Education Online During COVID-19” (Thursday, March 19, 2020 at 4pm EST). This webinar was designed to help teachers who are new to online instruction get up to speed as fast as possible.

The webinar specifically focuses on presenting ways to help teachers:
- identify the necessary tools and strategies need to move instruction online;
- adapt traditional in-classroom lessons into meaningful online instruction;
- develop a strategy to ensure instructional goals are being met;
- create processes to manage their instruction on an ongoing basis.
Given the present circumstances, these are all critical points in transitioning to online education. Any educator who is new to online instruction definitely won't want to miss this important webinar.
