Yoga for Back Pain! These are my go-to movements for my lower back pain.

The KEY is to move slowly ? without pain. Never push into pain.⚠️

I know you might have the urge to “work out” the kinks, but please trust me. Don’t push into pain.
⠀
Pain is out brain’s way of saying “STOP! Something is not right here!” So, please listen. Pushing into the pain will make matters worse.

Instead, move slowly and controlled with deep breaths. This will bring blood flow to those areas of your back that are feeling tight and tender.

This particular routine works for me but some of these movements might take time to build up to doing. You can still do them, just less exaggerated.

Start slow - without pain - and gradually increase your range of movement as it feels good to you.
⠀
Unless you are injured or suffering from a chronic disease, back pain is most often caused by lack of blood flow.

These movements will increase blood flow to your discs, ligaments & muscles and help make your back feel so much better.
