A 55 years old lady ,severe asthmatic from 30 years for which she requires daily inhaler, presented with 2 x 2 cm painful, reducible umbilical hernia. As General Anesthesia was contraindicated in a view of long duration of Asthma and pre operative PFT showed severe expiratory limitation , She was posted for Composite Ventral Patch Repair of Umbilical Hernia under Regional Anesthesia.
