This video is an update on the FCC authorizing FM mode on the Citizens Band radio service aka CB band or 27 mhz.

FCC authorized FM back in July 2021 and I posted a video just a couple of days later to get the word out.

So what's been going on? Not much but rumors have it that the FCC is poised to strike again with an update possibly for clarification.

One rumor I'll explain here in the description is the possibility of adding 6 new channels to the CB band. And here are the possible candidates you heard 1st on 640AM The Mix - another shameless plug!

27.435, 27.455, 27.275, 27.495, 27.515 and 27.535 all for just FM!
