Join Brad and Toph at the table as we discuss Leder Games' new release, Ahoy. Spoiler... we like it.
Sail the Seven Seas [like Jack Sparrow?] in this new asymmetric game that is easier to hit the table and teach than a Bad at Board Games favorite, Root. Deemed "Root-light," Ahoy is a beautiful mix of game play mechanics. Some play for area control, others a bit of pick-up and deliver. Depending on your faction, this dice placement game will have you playing a tactical game racing for victory points. We were lucky to get our hands on this game, and we think it's one you'll enjoy if you're looking for a mid-weight, light asymmetric, well-themed game.
We ramble a bit on this one, but only because we had a lot of things to say about this new game.
