Just when I thought I was fresh out of ideas - and there couldn't be any better panfish lures than "TwinkieZ" - along with all the real storms we've had this spring came a brainstorm! Could TRD MinnowZ, formerly known as Rain MinnowZ, possibly be modified to make a good, small panfish jig? Lo and behold, the jazzed-up MinnerZ were born and they are not only good, they are great! MinnerZ have performed are very likely to make it into my personal Panfish Lure Hall of Fame in 2019. These tiny, approximately 2 inches +/- lures are a combination of a tiny fish fingerling and a tiny craw. They seem to be irresistible to panfish whether floated under a small weighted cork or simply allowed to rest, tail up, on the bottom and be worked like a typical Ned rig.
