the only good thing to come from reading this many murakami books is reluctantly becoming an authority on what's worth reading. time to gatekeep.
the more books that i read the less i like his stuff, there are definitely some highlights but there are better books out there so if you don't end up reading his stuff i don't think you're missing out that much. despite that, some of his books hold special places in my heart - he's still a weirdo though. jail. electric chair. etc. anyways here’s the murakami tier list
