So you want to know about the Dell XPS 15 9570. Will it stand the test of your projects, life around the office, and long-term durability. I have been a graphic designer using Mac for the past 10 years. Recently I switched to the Dell XPS 15 and the results are truly stunning. So the question is: is this the best MacBook Pro alternative?

I was really concerned when buying the Dell XPS 15 Laptop, honestly, concerned I tell you. I had used a Macbook Pro for years, and now to think all of my trash talk on the subject of Mac Vs PC, I was putting my money where my mouth was. No longer would I have a biased opinion for Mac.

I am writing/filming a review of the Dell XPS 15 9570 to help others
with their Mac Vs PC struggle. My desire to convert you to the Dell XPS 15, or similar products, is not the highest priority to me. Rather I want to give you real, true information that will help you make a qualified decision on the subject of Mac Vs PC for graphic designers.

Alright let's jump into the review of the Dell XPS 15 9570 for in this graphic designer's of the Dell XPS 15 9570...

1. First and foremost, and ultimately very important to me is build quality. This was one a my top 3 concerns when switch to the Dell XPS 15 9570, another top concern being longevity.

Build quality is top notch on the Dell XPS 15 9570. It share the same body as the previous 9560, with the camera moved to the center and upgraded a little bit. I was truly blown away. The aluminum chassis is strong, durable, and scratch. The Carbon fiber interior is a much smarter and durable material for day to day use. It holds up very well, and I am not easy on my computer.

2. Second aspect of the Dell XPS 15 9570 I want to look at is the performance and components. This computer comes extremely well equipped with:

- Nvidia's GTX1050Ti GPU
- 16GB of RAM (or 32GB depending on the model you purchase)
- 256GB - 1TB Solid state Hard Drive
- Intel i7 8th Gen - i9 Processor available

The Dell XPS 15 is a is a rocket ship for creatives and gamers alike. I will give you an example. I was editing a video In premiere pro, I had Adobe Photoshop and Indeisgn running in the background, while uploading a video to YouTube simultaneously with peak performance. I would have NEVER been able to do that with my previous Macbook Pro.

I searched high a low for a quality Macbook Pro competitor and after months of research I think that the Dell XPS 15 9570 is a worthy advocate! It might even be said that the Macbook Pro is the one inferior to the Dell XPS 15 9570 and one day people may ask, "what is the best Dell XPS 15 competitor?" :-P

You are in good hands with the Dell XPS 15 9570.

3. Let's talk about the ports on the Dell XPS 15 9570. IT ACTUALLY HAS THEM. This has been the joke of jokes around the graphic design community. I know that Apple is trying to innovate and the only way to do so is to get rid of ALL options and force people to use your system (wait, is that how you innovate?). Ok, I don't mean to harp on Apple (iheart my iPhone), but what I am trying to say is that as a graphic designer efficiency is king!
