Dozens of demonstrators protested at the perimeter of the Oscars ceremony venue, chanting “end the siege on Gaza now“ as Hollywood's glitterati arrive for the 96th Academy Awards.
The protesters said they wanted to voice their condemnation of US support for Israel at one of the country’s most prestigious cultural events, with some holding placards calling on President Joe Biden to change course.
