In this video tutorial, I will show you how to delete file or folder using the command prompt.
Here are the steps you can follow.
Step 1: Change the path of the directory in CMD and set it to the path of the file. Type "cd desktop" and Enter
Step 2: Delete the file “TestFile.xlsx” with the following command:
del "filename" in our case TestFile.xlsx
Delete the folder “TestFolder” with the following command:
rmdir "FolderName" in our case TestFolder
Step 3: Since our Folder is not empty we need to use this command:
rd /? (read and understand the instruction)
Step 4: rmdir TestFolder /S
