Today, I will take the time to do a video specifically on income taxes in Germany which, in other words, just means the taxes that you pay from your salary. And you might be thinking, why is this guy doing a video on that? Well, as some of you watching might already know, I work in the HR department, and every end of the month, when the company pays the salary to all employees, I get questions about very surprised employees asking why did they get taxed so much, that they did not think that so much of their gross salary would go away in taxes, and other similar things. The simple answer to that would be: This is Germany! Taxes are very high!
