Built in 1926, it has hosted numerous special events in the entertainment industry including famous movie premieres, Academy Awards ceremonies, and corporate events.
The Dolby Theatre is another famous auditorium for live-performances and ceremonies that sits next to the TCL Chinese Theatre. Built in 2001, it has hosted the Academy Awards, American Idol, and American's Got Talent live shows.
