This video looks at how Lenin and Bukharin's New Economic Policy (NEP) informed the rationale through which Deng Xiaoping began to transition Mao's underdeveloped China into the modern power it is today. Developing the forces of production has always been paramount for underdeveloped economies, and many of the lessons the Chinese learned, came from the success and failures of the Soviets (USSR) before them.
