Last month I made the trip over to Latitude Margaritaville Daytona Beach.
This was my first trip to tour a community since this whole coronavirus thing began.
I posted a longer, 34-minute video for my Florida Retirement Insider members.

A few key takeaways from this trip:
Latitude Margaritaville recently closed on their 1,000th home.
There are another 400 homes sold and in various stages of construction.
The community will ultimately be between 3,400 and 4,000 homes
There are some terrific amenities already up and running, but they will be breaking ground soon on an indoor lap pool and another amenity building at the town center.
Speaking of the town center, the restaurant there is called Latitude Bar & Chill.
I figured the cheeseburger had to be a winner, and it totally was!
In my opinion, the most important amenity is the Private Beach Club, and it is nearly complete.
They are really just waiting on figuring out logistics of how to run a shuttle service to it during a pandemic.
The best way to experience what it’s like to live in Latitude Margaritaville is to take advantage of their “Change in Latitude” Getaway.
They have 16 homes set aside for this purpose, and I highly recommend you give it a try.
The getaway includes full access to the amenities, use of golf cart during your stay, and you can either stay 2 nights or 3 nights for $133/night (price subject to change obviously).
The agent you’ll see in the video, Kelley, is who I send all of my readers to there.
She lives in the community as you’ll hear her mention in the video.

Kelley can also help you set up a visit to Latitude Margaritaville, or she can help you sign up for the “Getaway” too, if you’d like.
