Donald Trump will hold a news conference later after he became the first president in US history to be found guilty of a crime.
The former US leader has already raged at the verdict, describing himself as a "political prisoner".
He was found guilty on 34 charges connected to money that was paid to buy the silence of porn actress Stormy Daniels, who he had slept with.
