Bluehost vs. Liquid Web Comparison (2024) - 1 Clear Winner! Transcript. Hello everyone Carson here and in today's video, I'm going to be comparing Bluehost and liquid web hosting. Now let's jump right into the comparison. But before we do just a reminder that I have a link in the description where you can view more details and receive special discounts. And now let's go ahead and get into this comparison. Now the first thing we need to cover is obviously the two companies that we're going to be comparing to today, the first one being Bluehost, one of the major website hosting companies, one of the biggest ones on the market, and which is officially recommended by wordpress.org. It's widely known for its very cheap, beginner friendly, and super high performance website hosting plans.

Now liquid web is an independently operated and managed website hosting company. And unlike traditional website hosting companies like Bluehost, they only provide managed hosting services for VPS and dedicated servers, they don't actually provide common plans like shared hosting, or cloud hosting or managed WordPress hosting, or just managed hosting in general, they provide these very specific and few niche plans. Now the first thing we do need to compare his speeds and availability of these two website hosting platforms. So when you do run it through a speed test, when you do test them both out and you know, compare them to see which one is faster, it's actually very neck and neck, they are so incredibly close that it's only by a few varying degrees, that you do find a faster result. But that faster result is actually liquid web. So I'm going to give it to them for this one too, despite the difference being so slim.

Next up, we have ease of use, which without a doubt goes to Bluehost. Because Bluehost just provides a great service for beginner users. It's incredibly beginner friendly, and they provide cPanel access and the custom Bluehost cPanel as well. They provide one click WordPress installs and a bunch of different features that just make it easy to use. Whereas liquidweb isn't really as focused on this because their services are so niche. So without a doubt Bluehost takes this comparison. Next up, if you're comparing features, it is very close once again, but I'm gonna have to give this one to Bluehost. Mainly because of their wider range of plans and availability, you have more different plans you can choose from and pick between, then liquid web liquid web is very specific and focused only, as I've said before, on a few niche plans with se offer, and most people aren't going to be wanting those plants anyways.

So I feel like blues just has a wider variety of features overall. So this one will go to Bluehost. Next step in comparing support Bluehost and liquid web are very neck and neck. They both provide technical assistance through a bunch of different modes like phone and live chat, which is a big benefit. And overall, there's not a gigantic difference between their two support options. If I had to give it to one though, I would give it to Bluehost. But this is just more of a personal thing, because overall I've had great experiences with Bluehost customer support. Next up if we're looking at pricing, this really isn't a competition because Bluehost along with offering a free domain name and a free SSL certificate starts at around 275 per month, whereas liquid webs cheapest hosting plan is around $29 per month.

So there really just isn't a comparison on the pricing. Bluehost takes it hands down. And that does lead into my recap and conclusion where I just have to say that personally, I think hands down. If you're a beginner, if you're looking to get started on website hosting. Without a doubt is a better hosting platform. There really isn't any comparison.
