Now to take things into the opposite end of the spectrum! Going from what was the super easy stage and boss of Toad Man, and moving on to the slightly annoying stage, and ever so cheap boss of Bright Man!
The stage itself is not so bad... Just a series of tricky little jumps, riding on robotic grass hoppers, lights that go on and off... all that good stuff. Bright Man's stage is not one of my favourites though... The music is okay, but could be better, gameplay is not too thrilling... I dunno, I guess I find it a bit of a weird stage. Still fun, just odd...
Bright Man himself is likely the only reason why nobody tends to bother with no damage runs of Mega Man 4. The reason behind this? Simple! Bright Man is about as cheap as it gets when it comes to boss AI. You know how for most time freezing bosses, you can still position yourself to not get hit? Well, that is only half true for Bright Man. Sure you can position yourself to not get shot while frozen... but that freeze lasts a loooooong time, and if Bright Man decides to jump at any point during that freezing... SMACK! Just to make it worse, Bright Man does a TON of damage when hits you, thus tempting players to just freeze where they may be shot his weaker buster instead. While still not too difficult, the cheapness factor makes me a sad kitty.
