Motorcycle trip from London to Morocco. I bid farewell to the Belgian bikers after a fun evening spent on the rooftops of Zagora and head for the movie sets of Ouarzazate. While on the set of Troy I meet a group of Austrians on BMWs who show me the off road trail to the legendary kasbah of Ait Benhaddou on the old caravan route between the Sahara and Marrakech. After a little look around, I cross the river and head to Auberge Ayouz where I find Tasuta N-Imal (a local desert blues band) shooting a music video. Needless to say, a very enjoyable evening was spent, listening to them play while watching the sunset over the oasis. Morocco is famous for its music, which is a rich and diverse as the country itself. So it was great to have experienced a bit of it first hand.
