Jaipur, Rajasthan, India | 2022: This video shows me starting the day early and exploring the city of Jaipur. I enter the city from the Chandpole gate on the west of the walled city of Old Jaipur. We go straight along the Chandpole Bazar road until we reach the Badi Chaupar intersection from where we take a left turn to just pass by the Hawa Mahal.

We go just a little further straight on the Hawa Mahal road before taking another left turn to start moving towards the very famous City Palace and Jantar Mantar. We park the car at the quiet and empty parking lot (thanks to our early morning start).

From there, I walk toward the City Palace but decide to take a left just before its front entrance. to instead first reach the astronomical observatory of Jantar Mantar. We spend 10-15 mins here in the scorching sun and then decide to step out and walk towards the City Palace.

We spend a good hour and half at the City Palace, exploring this past seat of power and administration for the Rajput city of Jaipur. We walk through different sections of the palace, just relaxing and talking about its history, architecture, and its Mughal connection.

We then go to a rooftop restaurant situated within the City Palace and enjoy a cup of tea and cookies along with a good view of the palace and its surroundings. From there we climb down and walk out of the City Palace to get back to the parking lot from where we had started our walk from.
