I bought the gun on UNCompany for 296 USD, here : [ Ссылка ]
Shots with the WE AKS74UN WE Gbbr.
The AKS74UN is a short version of the AKS74, which is a folding stock version of the AK74. The "N" means that the gun also has a side rail for optics and stuff.
This replica took some liberties compared to the real one. No wood parts but black rubber for the hand guard and the grip, a magwell and custom safety lever.
The rubber parts are ok I think. Wood is much cooler obviously, but it feels confortable. And the safety lever may not be realistic, but it's really ergonomic. Not a big fan of the magwell though.
This Gbbr has some very nice features compared to other Gas AK of the market.
The first of those would be the full traveling bolt, which is really, really cool. It gives the gun an incredible kick (I think it's the hardest kick I have ever felt with an out of the box airsoft gun), and it's realistic. It also makes the cocking sound really great.
There is also the fact that the gun stops shooting when there is no more bb's in the magazine. Other gas AK in the airsoft market just continue to dry fire. Very nice feature as well.
Note that you can put 50 bb's in each magazine. Which is not realistic I guess, but usefull, considering 30 shots is really not a lot for airsoft games. I think 50 bb's is a good compromise between realism and confort.
The rate of fire is slow, but, well... I don't care. I don't need full auto really on a gun like that. And anyway, just like with most Gbbrs, this gun doesn't handle well long bursts. The bolt gets cold very fast which results in a huge cooldown. The fact that the bolt is heavy and has to do a long distance at each shot doesn't help either.
But if you stay in the semi auto mode, it works well.
I really like this gun, I may try to use it for games.
