"The siege has lasted for days. You praise the courage of the peasant townsfolk for holding their ground against the abominable undead forces, but you know they cannot last. Towering giants -- your great allies from the north -- smash the enemy with their massive clubs while dwarven musketfire rips into the attackers. The earth shakes beneath your feet as a salvo of catapult fire crashes around you. You call in a regiment of pikemen to bolster the front lines, but you know it won't be enough. In the distance, you spot a giant troll slowly lumbering forward, intent only on smashing your castle walls to pieces. Never-ending skeleton hordes rise from the ground, with only death in their eyes. With one last prayer to the king, you ready your sword and rush headlong into the battle."

This is Heroes & Castles -- a game that seamlessly blends action-RPG, strategy, and castle defense elements by placing you right in the middle of an epic fantasy battle. Players will controls one of three powerful heroes while summoning entire armies to fight beside them in battle and defending their castle walls. They can level up their heroes, unlock new skills and abilities, and customize their character with randomized runes. In battle, they will be able to summon the aid of over 12 unit types to fight beside them, including pikemen, dwarves, giants, catapults, clerics, and more. Additionally, they can upgrade their castle walls, build a variety of towers, and erect special buildings to improve the strength of units on the battlefield. It will take a careful balance of all these elements for players to repel the enemy and fight their way to victory!
